Makayla Oei

Makayla has over 13 years of experience within the construction industry. She began her career as a project assistant for a mechanical contractor. During this time she completed Construction Management Certificate Classes at the UC Davis Extension Campus in Sacramento, CA. In April 2015, Makayla made the move to Mark III under the capacity of Project Engineer. After only eight months, she was promoted to Project Manager and is currently project executive for the MEP manufacturing innovation segment of the company. She is skilled in growing contractor relationships, virtual construction & manufacturing efforts, and delivering projects on-time and within budget. Over the past 5 years, Makayla has managed over $20 million in Mechanical projects and $5 million in MEP projects.

With Project Mountain, Mark III is disrupting the traditional construction process by standardizing design, streamlining material procurement, and leveraging prefabrication and manufacturing to build better, faster, and cheaper.
