LeanIPD.com started in 2016 with the goal of sharing information and best practices to further the use of Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery and Building Information Modeling to improve outcomes in Design and Construction of complex construction projects.
The site is managed by James Pease as executive editor with the support of an accomplished advisory board and panel of expert blog contributors.
We provide expert support for new projects looking to use Lean IPD and project assessments for projects already using Lean IPD.
James Pease currently leads a $2Billion portfolio of health care construction projects in northern California ranging from equipment replacements to ground up hospitals.
He led over $2Billion in development using Lean IPD and consulted on another $700M in Lean IPD projects. He co-authored the IPD focused book - Integrated Project Delivery, An Action Guide for Leaders and developed a certificate based on the contents in collaboration with the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance of Canada.
James is a current board member and acting treasurer for the Lean Construction Institute. He is a past chairman of the Lean Construction Institute’s Northern California Community of Practice. He is a frequent speaker and Lean IPD coach/consultant, focused on furthering Lean Integrated Project Delivery in the design and construction industry.
James is a licensed CA general contractor and has a BS in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
